UI/UX Designer
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging digital experiences across web and mobile. You will lead user-centered design efforts from research and information architecture through wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes, and partner with product managers and engineers to deliver polished, component-driven interfaces and design systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead user research activities (interviews, surveys, contextual inquiry) and synthesize findings into actionable insights, personas, and user journeys.
- Define information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and interaction patterns that solve user problems and meet business goals.
- Create high-fidelity visual designs, interactive prototypes, and motion concepts for web and mobile using industry tools.
- Develop and maintain design systems, component libraries, and documentation to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
- Conduct usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and A/B testing; analyze results and iterate designs based on quantitative and qualitative data.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers and stakeholders to prioritize features, clarify requirements, and ensure smooth handoff and implementation.
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design best practices across devices and breakpoints.
- Collaborate with front-end engineers to translate designs into production, providing assets, redlines, and guidance for HTML/CSS/JS implementation.
- Use analytics and user feedback tools (e.g., HotJar, Google Analytics, UserTesting) to measure impact and inform continuous improvements.
- Advocate for user-centered principles across the organization and contribute to UX writing, onboarding flows, and content strategy when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work.
- Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InVision, Axure RP, Balsamiq, Zeplin, Framer, and Principle.
- Experience creating motion or micro-interaction designs (After Effects or similar) and building interactive prototypes.
- Deep understanding of wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, visual design, information architecture, user flows, personas, user research, and usability testing.
- Practical knowledge of A/B testing, accessibility (WCAG), responsive design, mobile-first design, and heuristic evaluation.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and preprocessors (SASS, LESS); experience collaborating on implementation with frameworks like Bootstrap and Material Design.
- Experience designing and maintaining design systems, Atomic Design principles, and component libraries.
- Comfortable working in Lean UX and Agile environments; strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience with analytics and research tools such as HotJar, Google Analytics, and UserTesting; experience with UX writing is a plus.
