Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced QA/Test Engineer with a strong focus on REST API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end validation across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of collaborating effectively with both onsite and offshore teams, particularly within the banking and financial services domain. This role requires a deep understanding of API testing methodologies and the ability to implement robust testing strategies to ensure the highest quality of software products.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for REST APIs, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Perform integration testing to validate the interaction between various components and systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
• Conduct end-to-end testing across web and mobile platforms to ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Utilize Pytest for automation of test cases, enhancing testing efficiency and coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
• Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing, particularly in the banking and financial services sector.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in API testing, with a deep understanding of RESTful services and tools.
• Proficient in integration testing methodologies and practices.
• Experience with end-to-end testing across web and mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with Pytest for test automation.
• Solid understanding of the banking and financial services domain.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with onsite and offshore teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Primary Skill - API integration testing, Mobile testing ,Pytest automation, Payment / Banking domain experience
• Familiarity with other testing frameworks and tools.
• Experience in performance testing and security testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance are a plus.
