The ALDI Supply Chain team focuses on managing products for stores and warehouses, as well as planning domestic and international freight with our carriers. The objective of this role is to manage and administer ALDI Supply Chain programs by economically securing product for the business, which in turn, promotes the company's objectives of maximizing sales and controlling expenses. In addition, the position will assist with the advancement of numerous Supply Chain initiatives in accordance with company guidelines.

In this role, the Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with suppliers on product availability and other key supply chain metrics. They will work closely with buying teams, carriers (both domestic and international), centralized purchasing teams, and other relevant internal and external groups. The ideal candidate will possess passion and expertise in logistics, supplier management, purchasing, order analysis, forecasting, and supply planning, demonstrating ease and autonomy in these areas. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and a solution-focused mindset.

Starting Salary: $77,000
Salary Increases: Year 2 - $80,000 | Year 3 - $85,000

This role is eligible to participate in ALDI's Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Assists and provides cover for colleagues where necessary.

* Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field required.
* A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Business required.
* Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

* Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
* Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
* Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
* Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.

Travel:

* Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
