Salvage Representative

Job Description

The Salvage Representative is responsible for efficiently transferring titles to obtain ownership and recover monies for total loss vehicles that have been acquired by the company. This includes ensuring salvage compliance in each state and entering data accurately.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, specific hours are subject to selected start times between 8:00am-9:00am pending supervisory approval.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process invoices and payment recoveries received from salvage vendors for services provided according to departmental process and update the salvage screen.
  • Transfer titles consistent with state regulations, efficiently process any corrections required by Department of Motor Vehicle, and update data.
  • Communicate with claim staff regarding missing salvage documents, accurately answer any inquiries.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior listening skills
  • Strong multi-tasking, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Technical aptitude, including working knowledge with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salvage experience is a plus but not required
  • Bilingual skills are a plus

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials.

Pay Range: $40,864-$47,423
