** This position will be a "home based" position with an assigned Georgia Power Operating Headquarters for any potential local interactions (specific location TBD by hiring manager). Some overnight travel (up to 50%) is required with this position to attend Public Information Meetings, participate in Special Master Hearings and Location Committee Meetings, conduct site visits, and/or meet with property owners on various projects across the State of Georgia. ** Working on weekends and/or in the evenings may also be required, depending on property owners’ schedules. Job Summary: The Right of Way Agent is responsible for acquiring easements and other property rights necessary to support Georgia Power's Grid Investment (GRID) and Strategic Projects Portfolio (SPP) programs. This role serves as the primary liaison between Georgia Power and property owners, negotiating land rights for electric infrastructure improvements while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, company policies, and acquisition procedures. The successful candidate will manage a high volume of acquisition activities across multiple projects, balancing customer needs with project schedules and business objectives.
