Hvac Installer

Introduction

Job Responsibilities

- Assist lead HVAC installer with installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.

- Prepare and clean work areas for installation tasks.

- Measure and cut sheet metal or ductwork to precise specifications.

- Support in assembling and installing ductwork and piping systems.

- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.

- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

- Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with HVAC systems.

- Communicate effectively with team members and clients as needed.

- Help with removal and disposal of old HVAC units and debris.

- Document work performed and report any issues to the lead installer.

- Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.

Job Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components

- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision

- Strong mechanical aptitude

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools, up to 50 lbs

- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces

- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

- Willingness to learn and attend training sessions as required

- Adherence to all safety regulations and protocols

- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts as needed

- Reliable transportation to job sites



Compensation details: 17-20 Hourly Wage
