This position is responsible for enterprise-level leadership, governance, and oversight of project scheduling across Southern Nuclear’s Fleet Capital Projects portfolio. The role establishes and enforces fleet-wide scheduling standards, baseline and re-baseline governance, and performance expectations to ensure schedules are credible, integrated, and suitable for executive decision-making and PRC / CPRC governance.
The position exists to provide independent project controls leadership, improve schedule predictability, and strengthen portfolio-level confidence in delivery commitments across multiple sites.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills)
Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline required. Advanced degree or professional certification (PMP, PMI-SP, PSP, CCP) preferred. Experience Extensive experience in project controls scheduling for capital projects in regulated or high-reliability environments. Demonstrated experience influencing outcomes across multiple projects, sites, or portfolios. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Specify major duties performed by the job and % of time spent on duties.
