Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and dependable Project Assistant to support installation teams working on facility improvement projects at military installations. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in project operations, construction support, or field services. The Project Assistant will help coordinate daily project activities, support installation crews, track project progress, and ensure work areas remain organized and safe.
No prior project management experience is required. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities- Assist project teams with daily field operations and project execution.
- Support installation crews by organizing materials, tools, and equipment.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to project leadership.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and project activities.
- Help ensure work is completed according to project requirements and schedules.
- Coordinate shipment, receipt, and inventory of project materials.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments.
- Follow established safety procedures and site requirements.
- Assist with travel logistics and project documentation as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support successful project completion.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain access to military installations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new processes quickly.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Willingness to travel for extended project assignments.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Previous experience in construction, facilities, maintenance, warehouse, logistics, or administrative support environments.
- Experience using basic hand tools.
- Familiarity with inventory tracking or project documentation.
- Experience working on government, military, or secure facilities is a plus.
