Job Description

Due to upcoming retirements, we have 2 academic physician positions available! The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Division of Emergency Medicine, in partnership with Seattle Children's Hospital is seeking 2 additional full-time providers to join our faculty with anticipated/flexible start dates in 2027.
 
The successful candidate will be a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level without tenure by reason of funding (WOT) on the Clinician-Scholar or the Clinical Practice track commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Applicants for this position must meet the following minimum qualifications:

Must have MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent). Must be Board certified or eligible (or foreign equivalent) in Emergency Medicine and must be eligible for medical licensure in state of Washington.

In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all 3 steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
