Material Handler III

Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite – Sorrento Valley)

Schedule: 1st Shift 7am to 3pm

Pay: $20 an hour on W2

Duration: 12-month contract


Overview

We’re hiring a Material Handler III to support a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, hands-on, and enjoys working across teams to ensure materials are packaged, tracked, and delivered accurately.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare, pack, and ship materials, tools, and components for customer delivery
  • Follow detailed packaging instructions to ensure consistency and protection of sensitive equipment
  • Collaborate with technicians and internal teams to determine optimal packaging approaches
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory movement, and materials
  • Use SAP or similar ERP systems to manage orders, updates, and tracking
  • Document work through non-conformance reporting, photos, and daily updates
  • Assist with kitting and staging materials for production or assembly
  • Support cycle counts and submit replenishment requests for packaging materials
What We’re Looking For
  • 2–4 years of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or materials role
  • Experience handling delicate or high-value components preferred
  • Comfortable using ERP systems (SAP or similar required) and basic Microsoft tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow step-by-step instructions
  • Ability to stay organized in a high-volume environment
  • Reliable, accountable, and proactive communicator
  • Comfortable being on your feet most of the day and lifting up to 50 lbs
