1776 Moving and Storage Inc. has an immediate opening for a Local Dispatcher in the Orlando office. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and share in our commitment to providing excellent service.

This is an entry-level position that has room for immediate advancement for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

* Must be computer literate

* Must be reliable, dependable and punctual

* Ability to handle stressful situations

* Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities

* Excellent communication and organizational skills

* Ability to excel in a fast paced work environment

* Knowledge of the Central Florida area

* Must have reliable transportation

* Must have a valid driver's license

* Must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience with a 26ft straight truck

* Ideal candidate will have 1 year of forklift operation experience

* Prior dispatching experience a plus, but not necessary

Special Requirements: Must be willing to be available on weekends and after hours during the week if needed. Early morning starts are frequent. This is a hands-on position that requires physical work as needed.

Responsibilities:

* Schedule local moving services efficiently to provide a first class moving experience

* Responsible for the hiring and training of local movers and drivers

* Enforces company policies and ensures standards are being met with movers and drivers

* Handle inbound calls

* Maintain equipment files

* Fill in when necessary as a driver/crew leader

* Assist with warehouse work when needed

* Other miscellaneous duties as needed
