Our Entertainment client is seeking a Licensing and Marketing Coordinator to join their team for the next 6 months, 40 hours/week.
This role is hybrid onsite 3 days a week in Burbank, CA.
Role Summary
The Licensing and Marketing Coordinator is a key member of the games licensing team, serving as a central liaison between internal teams and external partners. This role ensures that licensed game partners adhere to brand guidelines and accurately represent intellectual property across all creative and marketing materials. The coordinator supports business development efforts, manages partner pipelines, and oversees the review and approval of marketing assets throughout the game lifecycle. This role requires a passion for gaming, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to create compelling visual materials that showcase brands effectively.
Top Must Have Skills
Experience working with AAA entertainment brands across film, television, comics, animation, digital media, or video games
Ability to apply brand guidelines to marketing assets and creative collateral
Strong internal and external stakeholder communication skills, including experience working across multiple teams and functions
Additional Qualifications
Bachelor degree required
Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, Asana, or similar platforms
Experience with secure file sharing systems and asset management workflows
Creative experience with Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint
Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter or X
Basic knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
Strong analytical, problem solving, and creative thinking abilities
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management capability
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing needs
Proven ability to develop compelling creative assets with internal teams or external partners
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
Willingness to travel as needed
Responsibilities
Support licensing team business development efforts by maintaining toolkits and materials such as intellectual property presentations, sizzle reels, and pitch decks
Assist in managing the partner pipeline by tracking ongoing discussions, maintaining updated franchise information, and supporting pitch development
Route and track marketing and brand assets for approval, ensuring timely feedback and accurate incorporation of revisions
Maintain launch schedules and support both pre launch and post launch marketing execution for licensed games
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather brand assets, ensure adherence to guidelines, and coordinate approvals across production and marketing deliverables
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams including production and marketing, as well as external partners
Collect, organize, and archive large volumes of creative assets while maintaining strict version control and naming conventions
Distribute assets as needed across internal and external teams to ensure alignment across multiple game initiatives
Assist in developing and maintaining workflow documentation and processes to support cross functional collaboration
Coordinate meeting cadence, agendas, and follow ups with franchise and internal teams to align on key initiatives
Support executive presentations and demos by downloading, installing, and troubleshooting game builds when needed
Create visually compelling materials for pitch meetings, concept presentations, and trade shows to showcase brands effectively and authentically
