Industrial Designer, New Castle, DE:
Conduct design research & UX studies to translate consumer insights & trends into data-driven, innovative product concepts; Integrate artistic vision with computational design & sustainability principles to create eco-conscious/future-oriented product solutions; Design/optimize advanced 2D/3D product models & specifications, incorporating ergonomic/structural/aesthetic requirements for scalable production; Create/fabricate functional/rapid prototypes via additive manufacturing to validate geometry/tolerance/manufacturability for metal/plastic injection-molded components; Oversee sample fabrication & pre-production evaluations to ensure conformance with dimensional/mechanical criteria; Develop/deliver high-fidelity design presentations, photorealistic renderings & CMF boards to translate strategic rationale into marketing/engineering objectives; Manage/prioritize multiple design projects across product categories, ensuring alignment with launch schedules, regulatory compliance & design standards. Req: Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design or a related field; In-depth knowledge of DFM/DFA for metal/plastic injection-molded parts; Strong visual, graphic representation & physical model making (handcrafting, wood/metal working & 3D printing) skills; Excellent product design capabilities with advanced skills in rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing & 3D post-production presentation techniques; High proficiency in SolidWorks (surface/assembly modeling)/KeyShot/BambuLab/Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign)/AutoCAD/Rhino/3D Max.
