About This Role:


As the Head of Procurement IT, you will lead the Procurement IT team and report to the Senior Director of Accounting, Procurement & Global Business Services (GBS) IT. Your primary responsibility will be to drive engagement, build relationships, and influence senior business stakeholders to align IT strategies with business objectives. You will lead large teams, focusing on maximizing contributions through talent development and coaching. Actively driving projects, you will manage IT and business stakeholders to deliver high-value technology solutions. By integrating IT roadmaps with business strategies, you will ensure that technology capabilities meet the demands of the business. This role is crucial in ensuring that current technology supports are sustainable and scalable, contributing to the overall success of the company's operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive engagement and develop relationships with senior business stakeholders.
  • Translate business function strategies into technology demands that deliver measurable results.
  • Lead large teams, enhancing employee engagement and performance through coaching and development.
  • Actively manage projects, ensuring accountability and driving value across IT and business stakeholders.
  • Align IT capabilities with business demands by integrating roadmaps from enabling IT functions.
  • Negotiate and draft contracts with third parties to ensure successful engagement outcomes.
  • Manage department budgets and oversee IT projects for stakeholders.
  • Lead the discovery and development of business cases for technology investments.
  • Ensure technology investments are delivered within financial targets.
  • Facilitate dialogues to identify business opportunities that can be addressed through technology.
  • Manage existing business technology priorities for assigned lines of business.

Required Skills:

  • BA or BS in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience working as an IT professional supporting Procurement or similar functions.
  • Experience in Life Sciences/SOX regulated environments.
  • 5-10 years of experience with enterprise applications such as COUPA, ERP, and Analytics.
  • Experience in managing large Systems Integration partners.

Preferred Skills:

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience focusing on serving business customers in Procurement.

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $191,000.00-$263,000.00


Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.


Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
