Essential Onsite - Principal Quality Assurance Coordinator

As a Principal Quality Assurance Coordinator at Capital One, you will be responsible for providing floor support for our monitoring agents and leadership team with a focus on identifying key regulatory risks, ensuring testing efficacy, and improving operational processes. You will also have a commitment to providing insights which provide meaningful value to our business partners along with supporting second and third line review requests.

The work environment is primarily an indoor warehouse or manufacturing facility. Frequent exposure to moving equipment and mechanical components is required, and noise levels can be significant.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality assurance testing measurements and validations that provide information critical to assessing regulatory compliance and customer experience.

  • Complete manual quality assessments by navigating a mobile workstation throughout various production zones. This involves physical tasks such as lifting and opening boxes, as well as relocating mail trays to verify the quality of collateral paper, necessitating a daily activity level of at least 10,000 steps.

  • Perform data entry and data research activities.

  • Respond to questions and requests from testers, management and key stakeholders.

  • Execute and provide recommendations for process improvements and/or operating procedures.

  • Document procedures in accordance with established policies

  • Generate and distribute updates and reports as needed

  • Assist with cross training and calibration efforts

  • Support assorted Audit requests and sample walkthroughs


Essential Functions (Included, but not limited to):

  • Lifting up to 10 pounds

  • Moving/standing for extended periods of time

  • Regular and consistent attendance

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah Processing Center - This role is an essential position and requires on site attendance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

  • At least 1 year of experience in Google Suite or Microsoft Office

  • At least 2 years experience working in the Financial Industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of Process Management experience

  • Business Process Management Certification (BPM)

  • At least 1 year of quality assurance experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Salt Lake City, UT: $56,800 - $64,800 for Principal Quality Assur. Coord











Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
