Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Serve as Security liaison between SAP Security team and TK&L team - this includes role ownership, approving security requests, and others
• Own Timekeeping and Labor related Functional specification documents
• Execute Timekeeping configuration tasks in SAP CATS
• Own Functional specifications related to Shop Floor Time Entry
• Execute Timekeeping configuration tasks in the Time Elapsing Application (TEA)
• Execute Redwood chains as needed for Timekeeping & Labor - when CATS cleanup needed, needing to execute Redwood jobs
• Understand and oversee Labor processing jobs
• Lead process improvement activities to deliver the highest quality of service to sector customers and Timekeeping.
• Provide leadership and support of the 1ERP Business Technology Partners within the Timekeeping and Labor Team, specific to SAP CATS timekeeping
• Represent the Timekeeping and Labor team on different projects that the team supports from a CATS TK perspective
• Regularly interact with the Sector Cost Accounting/Labor Accounting/Payroll/Security/CATS Help Desk teams
• Investigate issues reported by Business process Champion; reviewing data conditions and recommending steps to resolve issues working directly with Level 3s, Level 2s, and business users
• Anticipate potential issues and opportunities through regular contact with Business process Champion, sector reps, shopfloor managers, and 1ERP Business Technology Partners.
• Interface between systems analysts/programmers and 1ERP Business Technology Partners to ensure that information technology designs in SAP and CATS meet the needs of the end users within the Sector
• Guide work tickets through to completion
• Work with other SAP Team analysts on cross functional projects related to Timekeeping
• Work with 1ERP Business Technology Partners and Business Process Champions in updating and writing functional specification documents
• Help with testing of issue fixes/enhancements as needed
• Identify training opportunities for the team
• Lead project efforts for Timekeeping and Labor
• Provide on call support when needed (month ends/year ends)
Basic Qualifications - To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below:
• At least 16 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree; OR 12 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree; Appropriate years of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement
• Knowledge of MS Office tools
• Ability to directly work with business process experts, Business process Champion and 1ERP Business Technology Partners
• Proficient in SAP design and functional specification writing
• Must be willing and able to occasionally work outside of normal business hours (including weekends) if necessary
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• Subject matter expert in timekeeping and labor processing
• Familiarity with Shopfloor timekeeping, state and union rules around Timekeeping
• Experience with SAP Labor, Timekeeping, and/or Project Systems usage at Northrop Grumman and within a sector
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in IT, Accounting or Business
• Experience in Implementing S/4 HANA
• Experience with a shopfloor time system
• Experience with Shopfloor Clocks
• Experience using Redwood
• Full life cycle SAP project implementation
• Experience working virtually
Primary Level Salary Range: $155,400.00 - $233,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
