IT Finance is a full service Financial Planning & Analysis function that guides our Information Technology organization to invest in value creating capabilities to help our company save and improve lives.

The Finance Director Enterprise IT (EIT) and IT Finance COE is a senior finance leader that supports two key functions within Information Technology.

This role is the senior finance partner to the leadership of EIT, which strives to be the heartbeat of the organization, serving as a trusted partner to the business by delivering high-quality enterprise solutions with speed-to-value and agility. EIT seeks to enable business process simplification and harmonization while advancing the digital enterprise through data-driven insights that optimize the user experience.

This role also leads the IT Finance COE, which is the central coordinating and consolidating services team for all of IT Finance, with core COE functions including monthly reporting, ongoing and periodic forecasting and planning exercises. The COE also coordinates with other business enablement functions in the IT division including Business of IT, Financial Operations, and the Apptio team. The role is also responsible for the Chief Information and Digital Officer's (CIDO) administrative budget.

Responsibilities of this role include:

Leadership & Partnership:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, and partner to the VP of EIT and its respective value teams translating financial insights into decisions that improve prioritization and value realization

  • Support IT Financial Management transformation emerging from the Business of IT program, including evolution of the product model, workforce/resource management and demand management.

  • Manage a team of 7 Finance professionals, including 4 direct reports by setting direction, developing talent, and ensuring strong execution across priorities.

  • Removes barriers, manages exceptions, and ensures risk and compliance requirements are proactively addressed and remediated

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Lead Budget, LROP and Forecasts development for Enterprise IT and the CIDO's administrative budget ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities and investment objectives.

  • Coordinate and consolidate the IT division's periodic forecasting exercises including 5-year plan and annual budgets.

  • Provide periodic financial management reports and analysis that highlights performance trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.

  • Facilitate trade-offs to ensure resources are allocated to the highest value programs and capabilities.

  • Develop Integrated Business Cases for EIT's technology investments in partnership with business stakeholders and Divisional Finance to articulate the value expectations of investments

Cross Divisional Coordination and Innovation:

  • Support transformational initiatives in other IT areas including Business of IT, FinOps, and the Apptio team

  • Drive a value first, enabled by AI, mindset across business partner areas

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 7+ years in finance, business operations, business strategy, investment management, or similar field

  • Experience with leading teams and managing people

  • Plan, lead and implement successful large-scale transformations in an ambiguous, fast paced environment, with multiple stakeholders and levels of leadership involved

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Knowledge of FE&A frameworks to define ROI, and align on value capture/realization

  • Ability to assess budgets, cost optimization and cost drivers to provide meaningful insights for teams developing business cases and making investment decisions

  • Ability to guide and influence interdisciplinary teams on Financial concepts and how that impacts Value Management

  • Communicate financial and performance information to leadership and colleagues for both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to act as strategic thought partner and trusted advisor to business stakeholders

  • Knowledge and experience with data analysis platforms such as PowerBI.

Preferred Skills:

  • Work well in a matrixed organization and across global teams to drive alignment

  • Demonstrate strong communicating and influencing abilities to ensure buy-in from leadership and the business

  • Financial Evaluation or other Value Management experience

  • Flex between high-level strategic thinking and tactical implementation

  • Bring a unique perspective, curiosity and innovate mindset to reimagine how generative AI and agents will change current ways of working

Education Requirements:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, business, information technology, or related discipline

  • MBA Preferred

The salary range for this role is

$156,900.00 - $247,000.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
