We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Global Access Insights Director in oncology to join our Market Access Insights & Forecasting organization. This role sits at the intersection of market access strategy, advanced analytics, and research, enabling data-driven decision-making to support global access, pricing, and reimbursement strategies.
The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of integrated market access insights across the oncology portfolio, leveraging capabilities including market research, advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and external data sources (e.g., Navlin).
This role is aligned with our access insights framework, delivering insights across descriptive, comparative, predictive, and technology-enabled domains to strengthen evidence and inform access strategy.
The Director, Oncology Global Access Insights will demonstrate a proactive, strategic mindset, a strong understanding of the evolving US and global healthcare landscape, and deep expertise in the payer environment. The position requires strong strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Insight Leadership
Serve as a strategic partner to global oncology market access and pricing teams to help identify and frame key business questions
Develop integrated research and analytics plans to inform global access strategies
Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Translate insights into compelling, executive-ready narratives
Strong understanding of primary market research methodologies and their use in generating actionable insights
Data Integration & Advanced Analytics
Utilize emerging technologies related to large language models and agentic AI including use case development on behalf of GMAx stakeholders
Integrate primary market research, secondary data, and external data sources
Develop ex-US predictive models for pricing, access, and reimbursement scenarios
Ensure scalability and reuse of insights
Execution of Global Access Insights Framework

Predictive: Model future access outcomes
Technology: Enable real-time insight delivery
Leadership Responsibilities
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including direct and indirect reports located across the globe
Foster innovation, collaboration, and strong stakeholder partnership across matrixed teams
Support capability building, talent development, and a culture of continuous learning
Drive agile delivery models and high-quality insight generation in a fast-evolving environment
Required Education
Undergraduate degree in related discipline required
MBA or Master's degree in Public Health, Health Economics, Pharmacy, Business, Statistics, Policy, or a related field preferred
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum of 8 years of relevant delivery of complex insight projects in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, including at least 5 years' experience in market access (global experience preferred)
5+ years in oncology
Experience could be from a similar role at a pharmaceuticals firm or at a management consulting firm. Strong understanding of the global pharma landscape and commercial analytics capabilities (market research, forecasting, data driven analytics, advanced analytics, etc.)
Strong understanding of oncology access dynamics (US, EU, CN, JP)
Cross-functional leadership experience
Strong communication, presentation and leadership skills
Ability to understand business process and break down business questions into specific, tangible hypotheses and requirements to guide analysis. Excellent problem-solving skills with an appreciation for data oriented analytical methods.
Ability to operate in an unstructured environment and have strong organizational skills to create structure and clarity. Excellent organizational skills, with ability to navigate a complex matrix environment and organize/prioritize work efficiently and effectively
Preferred Experience
Predictive modeling and scenario analysis expertise
Experience with external pricing or market access platforms such as Navlin or similar tools
Experience in applying AI or digital tools to insight generation and monitoring
Background in consulting, advanced analytics, or strategic market access

The salary range for this role is
$173,200.00 - $272,600.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
