Job Description:
Role: This resource will assist the Client's Closed Blocks Product Support team in executing data manipulation and analysis in its efforts to test product functionality and policy values of life insurance and annuity blocks that are converting from four administrative systems to a single admin system through one or more releases.
Work will include analysis of balancing reports comparing values between the source system and the target system, documenting results, identifying differences and may include conducting research on potential causes and required changes.
Skills required:
Strong knowledge of Windows, specifically MS-Office applications (Excel)
Strong ability to manipulate data using various software and languages
Exceptional organization with astute attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow and execute quickly detailed processes repeatedly and document clearly
Quick learner who can manage tasks and meet deadlines
Strong collaborator with interpersonal and communication skills
Inquisitive problem solver with a positive attitude and execution focused
Must be able to work as part of a team or individually
A basic understanding of life insurance and annuity products and features
Additional preferred experience:
Substantial prior life insurance product experience with product development or inforce management
Experience with or understanding of IT, actuarial, finance or risk/audit processes
Familiar with Life Comm, Life/70, Ingenium and/or AdminServer systems
Prior admin system conversion experience
Experience with Alteryx
Successfully completed one or more Actuarial exams
Working hours:
This is a full-time assignment (40 hours per week) for up to 12-18 months. Would consider less than full time for the right candidate.
Will be expected to work generally from 9-5 Eastern time Monday through Friday. Also expected to work two weekends for dress rehearsal and cutover for each release.
Expected to participate in both internal team meetings and calls with the external vendor.
Role can be in-office (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) if located within 50 miles of Richmond VA or Lynchburg, VA or remote.
