The Seattle office of McGuireWoods is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Case Assistant to support our Commercial Litigation practice group. The successful candidate will possess superior organizational capabilities and participate in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:- File management including creating, organizing, and updating case files and databases.
- Organizes, labels and files case materials as directed.
- Deposition and trial preparation, including putting together materials to help the team prepare for litigation.
- Supporting paralegals and other staff on case-related tasks.
- Performs additional duties as directed.
- Bachelor's degree and/or some experience in a law firm is preferred (Spring 2026 graduates welcome to apply).
- Excellent technical skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and AI legal platforms.
- Familiarity with case management systems and/or E-Discovery platforms (CaseMap, FileSite, eRoom, Pacer, and Relativity) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate filing skills
- Self-starter and team player
- Willingness and desire to work with innovative technology platforms - our employees also have access to Harvey, a legal-specific AI tool that reduces time spent on routine tasks, allowing you to focus on more meaningful, high-impact work.
