Job Description:

Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Business Systems Analyst 3 (Oracle EPM Cloud) with a leading enterprise organization in the manufacturing and consumer products industry. This position will support and enhance critical Oracle EPM Cloud financial planning and reporting systems while partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to drive system improvements, automation, and enterprise-wide reporting capabilities. The role offers the opportunity to work on Oracle EPM Cloud administration, development, integrations, and strategic initiatives within a complex financial systems environment.

Job Summary

The Business Systems Analyst 3 will be responsible for the administration, support, maintenance, and development of Oracle EPM Cloud financial systems. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to enhance application functionality, support enterprise reporting and planning processes, manage system integrations, and lead key initiatives related to Oracle EPM Cloud. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud administration and development, along with experience gathering business requirements, managing system enhancements, and providing technical leadership for financial systems projects.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT programming, systems analysis, or business systems support
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud, Fusion Edition
• Strong experience with Oracle EPM Cloud Planning, Performance Management, Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management (EDM)
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Essbase BSO and ASO cubes
• Experience creating and modifying Groovy scripts, Business Rules, Calc Scripts, and Planning Forms
• Experience supporting Oracle EPM Cloud migrations, system administration, security management, and production support
• Strong background in requirements gathering, technical documentation, testing, UAT support, and stakeholder communication

Preferred Skills

• Oracle EPM Cloud Narrative Reporting experience
• Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) experience
• OCI Identity Management experience
• Experience with automated reporting, scripting, and process optimization
• Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting systems experience
• Experience monitoring project deliverables and managing work efforts through Jira
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
• Oracle EPM certification(s)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project skills
• Experience leading system enhancement initiatives and providing strategic recommendations for long-term platform improvements

Location: Orange County, CA

Onsite Expectation: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, up to 2 days remote per week

Pay Range: $40-58.65/hour
