Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to support critical data management and EDI initiatives within a large-scale enterprise environment. This individual will play a key role in improving the reliability, accuracy, and flow of data across business systems, including SAP, EDI platforms, and internal applications that support customer, order, and supply chain processes.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience supporting EDI systems and processes.
- Experience serving as a Product Owner or business lead for data management, data integration, or EDI-related initiatives.
- Strong project and program management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proven experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
- Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Lead and support projects focused on EDI, master data management, system integrations, and data quality improvements.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements for technical teams.
- Manage system enhancement initiatives, upgrades, configuration activities, testing efforts, and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data flow between SAP, EDI platforms, and other enterprise systems.
- Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution, and production support activities.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Support ongoing maintenance of EDI data tools, master data processes, and data governance initiatives.
- Investigate data issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions to improve data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, cybersecurity standards, and audit readiness processes.
- Perform data audits and develop reporting to support business and operational objectives.
