NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Coordinator, Broadcast Traffic, based in our Concord, North Carolina office.
The Coordinator, Broadcast Traffic is responsible for all traffic duties and provides administrative support to departments within the business unit as needed.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Enter advertising orders (from in-house and third-party sales teams), as needed, for over-the-air products and digital programming into commercial trafficking system software.
- Enter commercial traffic, rotations, and copy-split information into commercial trafficking system software.
- Enter commercial traffic instructions into third-party digital advertising delivery vendor portal(s) for digital delivery of advertising in podcasts and/or live streams.
- Assist the sales team with urgent commercial traffic and order changes, as needed.
- Work directly with the sales team to coordinate creative materials (produced spots and scripts) on deadline.
- Provide Production and Programming teams with all commercial logs and materials needed for broadcast production
- Communicate with commercial trafficking software vendor when troubleshooting is needed.
- Coordinate the delivery of raceway share reports to Finance.
- Provide administrative support to MRN & NASCAR Productions departments, including coordinating meetings and other duties as requested.
- Travel required: <5%
Required skills/experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university
- Minimum of 3 (three) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in company-provided hardware and software.
- Ability to multitask on multiple projects and duties.
- Must be well organized and be flexible to shifting priorities.
- Possess a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
