Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)

Location: North Providence, RI Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM Setting: Non-Public Special Education School (No Travel Required)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a school-based special education program serving students ages 5-22 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

This is a full-time, onsite position with a stable schedule and excellent work-life balance. There are no evening hours, weekends, insurance billing responsibilities, or productivity requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Provide behavioral support, consultation, and oversight for assigned classrooms.
• Collect, analyze, and monitor behavior data to guide interventions.
• Train and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and classroom staff in ABA best practices.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, social workers, and vocational specialists.
• Ensure consistent implementation of evidence-based behavioral strategies and ABA principles.

Required Qualifications

• Active BCBA Certification OR
• Active BCaBA Certification OR
• Eligible to sit for the BCBA examination within 6 months
• Eligible for or currently possess Rhode Island Department of Health Licensure
• Experience working with individuals diagnosed with:
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Developmental Disabilities
