Job Description

Overview: The Pharmacy Diversion Analyst is responsible for leveraging data analytics to support oversight of a comprehensive program designed to prevent, detect, and respond to drug diversion within the organization. This role collaborates with pharmacy, nursing, compliance, risk management, allied health staff, and security teams to ensure controlled substances are handled in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION:: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy

PREFERRED EDUCATION:: Doctoral Degree in Pharmacy

REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:: FL Pharmacy License in good standing with CMS PREFERRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:: Certified Diversion Investigator (CDI) or similar credential

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:: 3 to 5 years of controlled substance regulatory compliance and investigation

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:: Must have knowledge of and experience using software applications (word processing, spreadsheets and databases). Must have strong analytical abilities, problem solving skills, and excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written Experience with controlled substance monitoring systems (e.g., ADCs, EMR reporting tools) preferred Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to controlled substances (DEA, state laws, Joint Commission standards) Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
