Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join out YGC team in Kennesaw, Ga. Create strategic plans for the development and execution of comprehensive creative strategies, work with the current agency as well as oversee media relations activities for the Golf Car Fleet, PTV, and Utility lines, including new product introductions. Ensure all efforts align with Yamaha Golf Cars' goals and Corporate Brand Strategy and upholds the brand's esteemed reputation in the market.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Establish, develop, implement, and measure the strategies and actions to ensure successful achievement of annual wholesale and retail targets of the YGC product lines concurrent with the established long-term goals of the company, and aligned with Corporate Branding Strategies.
  • Oversee YGC’s overall Digital Marketing Strategy in areas, of Web, Social, CRM etc. working across YGC and in connection with Yamaha’s Digital Experience team.
  • Develop and cultivate detailed long-term market forecasting initiatives to maximize wholesale and retail efficiencies throughout each YGC product category.
  • Prepare and make strategic recommendations for sales promotion budget development and overall management thereof on a yearly basis.
  • Evaluate and assist YGC’s R&D department’s initiatives for research of consumer insights and manage information as further guidance for overall marketing and advertising direction.
  • Provide clear and specific brand and product positioning direction and manage integration of marketing material cross functionally and globally as necessary.
  • Oversee specific media, sponsorship, product placement, and promotional marketing opportunities. Provide oversight and direction cross functionally to maintain brand image and consistency of marketing materials for all YGC products.
  • Oversee all media relations activities within YGC for all product lines; including new product introductions.
  • Manage Internal and External events and trade shows working across the YGC Team.
  • Work with all sales channels, service department, and parts and accessories teams on area marketing and dealer and distributor development needs. 

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Ability to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of subordinates and delegate tasks appropriately.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in conveying product/brand messages to diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exceptional time management skills, capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to learn and utilize relevant Yamaha and market systems, such as SAP and Salesforce.
  • Experience and interest in the golf and mobility industry is a plus.
