Role Purpose Statement

The Assistant Trader - Dry Bulk is reponsible for assisting the traders in the commodity trading in the specific program and general commercial activities in the Latin America region.

Main Accountabilities

  • Daily revision/validation of trading position.
  • Daily preparation of trading P&L and reconciliating results versus accounting figures.
  • Assisting trading group in the elaboration and update of S&D reports, open demand, marketing plan, etc.
  • Ensure purchase & sales contracts input to the system is performed on time and accurately as per company policies.
  • Provide commercial support to traders with customers needs as required.
  • Assist with the maintenance and accurancy of the logistics position versus freight position.
  • Others as needed.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, Agricultural Economics or related field.
  • 1-2 years of business experience
