JOB DESCRIPTION

Production Planner:
Job Purpose: Oversees the identification and scheduling of all required elements to
ensure effective production within assigned areas.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Plans and establishes production schedules.
* Monitors materials inventories, tracks progress of production, and reviews factors
which affect schedules.
* Plan, and release work orders to production to provide continuous product
flow and on-time delivery of customer orders.
* Review manufacturer assembly instructions and schedule work orders in
accordance with design and assembly instructions and customer lead times.
* Review work orders and report problems and material shortages to management.
* Monitor production against the schedule and communicates status.
* Release integration orders.
* Work with materials to resolve any picking discrepancies with the warehouse and
production requirements.
* Act as primary interface to inside sales teams for production communication and
scheduling.

Knowledge and Skill:
* Demonstrated effective customer service skills
* Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently analyze and price contract
requests.
* Demonstrated analytical skills.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain attention to detail.

Work experience requirements:
* Two years of previous production planning or other related work experiences
involving the coordination of a variety of elements to meet a scheduled due date.
Education & Certification Requirements * High School Diploma or equivalent.
