The Culinary Supervisor will oversee the culinary operation with an emphasis on oversight of the hot line but will also support the banquet operation as needed. The right candidate for this position must have a basic understanding of a kitchen operation within the hotel. The Culinary Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the culinary team produces a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner. This individual must have basic skills in department training and be capable of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef. The ideal candidate will have skills and knowledge to include culinary education, basic cost control understanding, good communication, leadership skills and computer skills. This individual will need to have experience in both banquets and hot line, and have open availability depending on business levels.
