WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This role requires frequent collaboration with architects, engineers, and other specialists involved in spatial design projects. You must be adept at balancing creative vision with practical requirements, ensuring that designs are functional, buildable, and aligned with project timelines and client goals.

  • Lead, guide, and advise the client on the integration of their brand into the built environment.

2. Team Management:

  • Train and manage a team of designers, including graphic designers, industrial designers, scenic designers, brand strategists, and other design professionals.
  • Delegate tasks, assign projects, and manage workloads to optimize team performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

3. Project Collaboration:

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team specializing in the design of physical spaces, such as architectural environments, interior spaces, branded experiences, and wayfinding systems. Strong experience in spatial design (e.g., architecture, interior design, or environmental design) is essential to create immersive, functional, and brand-aligned experiences.
  • Ensure that brand and sponsorship activations complement the architecture.
  • Present design concepts and ideas to clients, articulating the rationale behind design decisions.

4. Design Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive design strategy that reflects the client's brand identity, values, and long-term goals.
  • Stay updated on design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

5. Quality Control:

  • Review and approve design deliverables to ensure they meet quality and brand standards.
  • Conduct design critiques and provide constructive feedback to improve design work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strategic Vision: Proven track record of developing and executing design strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience in collaborating effectively with other departments to ensure cohesive brand identity and user experience.
  • Brand Development: Expertise in building and evolving brands through consistent visual identity and compelling storytelling.
  • Market Awareness: Awareness of industry trends and competitor analysis to drive continuous improvement and differentiation in design solutions.

SKILLS:

  • Exceptional project management and communication skills.
  • Must be able to travel on a need basis.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a strong aesthetic sense.
