Job Description:

Linux System Administrator
Requirements:

Security Clearance:Active Secret clearance.
Experience:7+ years of experience in Linux Systems Administration.
Certifications:IAT Level II Certification. Obtain a Linux Operating System certification (Linux+, etc.) within 6 months from hire date.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Red Hat Linux Server environment.
- Knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards for Linux system administration and accreditation.
- Experience applying DoD STIG checklists to Linux systems.
- Scripting skills (e.g., shell scripting, PERL, Python).
- Solid understanding of networking technology, TCP/IP, and common internet application protocols.

Desired Skills (not required but beneficial):

Experience with log analysis tools (e.g., Graylog).
Familiarity with IT infrastructure management tools (e.g., RedHat Satellite).
Knowledge of system automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
Exposure to Apache HTTP Server, Storage Area Networks (SAN), and databases (e.g., Oracle, Sybase, MySQL).
Administration of software configuration management tools (e.g., GIT, CVS, SVN).
Familiarity with VMWare ESXi.
