Job Description:
Linux System AdministratorRequirements:
- Security Clearance:Active Secret clearance.
- Experience:7+ years of experience in Linux Systems Administration.
- Certifications:IAT Level II Certification. Obtain a Linux Operating System certification (Linux+, etc.) within 6 months from hire date.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Red Hat Linux Server environment.
- Knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards for Linux system administration and accreditation.
- Experience applying DoD STIG checklists to Linux systems.
- Scripting skills (e.g., shell scripting, PERL, Python).
- Solid understanding of networking technology, TCP/IP, and common internet application protocols.
- Experience with log analysis tools (e.g., Graylog).
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure management tools (e.g., RedHat Satellite).
- Knowledge of system automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
- Exposure to Apache HTTP Server, Storage Area Networks (SAN), and databases (e.g., Oracle, Sybase, MySQL).
- Administration of software configuration management tools (e.g., GIT, CVS, SVN).
- Familiarity with VMWare ESXi.
