Drug-Free Workplace
Quad is seeking a Second Shift Clamp Truck Operatorfor our Franklin, WI plant. The Clamp Truck Operator transports the roll paper within the plant ensuring presses have thenecessary amount of paper, returns unused paper to inventory, unloads and inspects incoming paper.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Some responsibilities of the position are as follows:
- Completes the daily maintenance checklist at shift start.
- Moves roll paper to presses, ensuring thecorrect type and size of paper per schedule.
- Removes from presses and places back in inventory unused roll paper upon completion of jobs.
- Unloads trucks roll paper, entering accurately into inventory and placing in appropriate bays for storage.
- Checks and ensures bar code labels are correct for paper received.
- Any roll paper received that is defective is properly reported and stored separately as necessary.
- Loads truckswith roll paper being transferred to other facilities.
- Completes all required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Works closely with the Sheeting and Flexo Department crews to ensure their paper needs are being met.
- Cleans and organizes roll warehouse
- Adheres to all safety policies, procedures, and requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift, Clamp Truck, andRoll Truck experience is strongly preferred.
- The successful candidate must be dependable, responsible, andable to work independently with minimal supervision and be a team player in a fast-paced, detail-oriented production environment. This position requires good math, verbal, and written skills as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize job needs.
- Intermediate Computer skills required.
- The position requires the ability to lift 10-20 pounds continuously, the ability to lift up to 50pounds occasionally, stand for long hours, use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions, and use vision to identify defects.Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Shift Information - 10-hourshifts 3:00pm-1:00am Monday-Thursday
