Full Job Description

Responsibilities / Tasks

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for assisting with troubleshooting and auditing at Romeoville, Fresno, Roswell and Microsites, as needed.
  • Assist with laboratory and manufacturing troubleshooting.
  • Review investigation reports, as needed.
  • Coordinate the introduction of new products from the R&D stages to Production: batch-tickets (Process Development), Q.A. cards, CoC, SDS and any safety parameters involved in the process.
  • Support the alternate raw material approval process.
  • Supervise the rework program.
  • Supervise Master Batch tickets databases for Romeoville, Fresno, and Microsites.
  • Provide QA laboratory assistance, as needed
  • Provide audit support on the production floor.
  • Review and update quality procedures, as needed.
  • Support raw material program (review raw material lot numbers and exp dates)
  • Support internal audit program.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

Examples:

  • An associate's degree in physical or life sciences with 3-5 years of experience is required. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with added training is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 5%-10% of the time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Familiar with Chromatography Data Systems such as ChemStation, Empower and/or Chromeleon.
  • Other duties as assigned.
