The Healthy Families/Early Care Programs Unit at the Garrett County Health Department has an opening for a part time (Recruitment#24-001375-0025) Office Clerk II. This part time contractual position provides clerical support in the Early Care Programs Unit. Clerical duties include copying and scanning various materials; greeting and directing office visitors to appropriate individuals; answering telephone calls and taking messages, transferring calls to appropriate parties, and providing routine information; sorting and distributing incoming mail/packages and preparing outgoing mail; enter, retrieving and updating information using computer software applications; typing correspondence; and other related duties. This position attends monthly staff meetings and additional professional development training as required, must adhere to confidentiality policies and procedures and will receive general supervision from the program director. Rate: Salary negotiable, based on experience.
