Fossil Group is looking for a Planner to join our Global Supply Chain team at our corporate office in Richardson, TX. This Planner will manage inventory levels for our finished goods categories supporting our Mexico region.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Overhaul the process for replenishment allocation to Mexico warehouse to deliver 90%+ supply supportability for this growing market. Revamp current processes through close collaboration with IT, demand planning and Mexico commercial teams.
- Ensure Global availability of finished good products for select brands/categories. Analyze demand plan trends and safety stock requirements to place accurate monthly replenishment purchase orders to deliver the inventory required to achieve company sales goals.
- Partner closely with Fossil East to ensure requirements are met in a timely fashion and communicate any delays to appropriate teams.
- Ensure global replenishment stock levels are at optimal levels through regular analysis of multiple data sets.
- Monitor and track inventory levels, service levels, excess/obsolete inventory, vendor performance, and any other relevant KPIs to identify variance from goals.
- Reporting out on KPIs and metrics to cross-functional partners of all levels.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning, Assortment Planning, Brand Management, Fossil East, IT and Logistics.
- Implement new processes to improve supply chain efficiency.
- Minimum three years of demonstrated success in a supply planning role
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is a plus
- Possesses strong analytical skill and attention to detail
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Familiarity with SAP APO and AFS is strongly preferred
- Strong technical skills in Google Sheets, MS Excel and other MS office tools
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven success with collaboration across multiple teams
