About the National Urban League.

The NUL is a historic civil rights organization dedicated to economic empowerment in order to elevate the standard of living in historically underserved urban communities. Founded in 1910 and headquartered in New York City, the National Urban League spearheads the efforts of its local affiliates through the development of programs, public policy research and advocacy. Today, The National Urban League has 90 affiliates serving 300 communities, in 37 states and the District of Columbia, providing direct services that impact and improve the lives of more than 2 million people nationwide.

You do not have to be a member of Sigma Gamma Rho to participate! Join us on July 31 from 11-3 pm CT to meet employers - from wherever you are - actively recruiting candidates from diverse backgrounds. Registration is required to participate.

 

Sigma Gamma Rho

Sigma Gamma Rho is an international collegiate sorority founded in 1922. Over the years, Sigma Gamma Rho has served as a home for more than 100,000 of collegiate and professional women looking for a place to share inspiring life experiences, conquer life challenges, and uplift the community through sisterhood, scholarship, and service. The dynamic women of Sigma Gamma Rho have built and sustained a well-known and highly respected reputation for leading positive change. With more than 500 chapters in the United States, and around the world, we visualize a world in which all women and their families reach their full potential in all aspects of life and are able to create unlimited opportunities for future generations.

It is the mission of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. to enhance the quality of life for women and their families in the U.S. and globally through community service, civil, and social action. Our goal is to achieve greater progress in the areas of education, health awareness, and leadership development. Our members, affiliates, staff and community partners work to create and support initiatives that align with our vision.
