We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.

Position Summary:

Provide strategic leadership and vision across multiple business units in support of the organization’s energy and sustainability goals. Drive operational excellence, through best practices and continuous improvement, to maximize organization value on water, electric, and gas demand and supply. Drive a world class sustainability program for the enterprise.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Research, analysis and development of long-term Energy and Sustainability initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to market enterprise-wide programs (i.e project successes, pilot programs, employee ideas, etc)
  • Develop and maintain a regular energy and sustainability reporting dashboard monitoring key performance indicators. Collect data as well as establish usage baselines and program improvement measurements
  • Develop renewable energy program focused on maintaining existing installations and implementing future opportunities
  • Create, plan, organize, and direct a utility management and purchasing program for Reyes Holdings in conjunction with the Strategic Sourcing Group
  • Maintain and improve energy and sustainability standards for all capital investment projects
  • Identify potential projects, programs, and initiatives to generate electric, gas, and water savings, including available incentives and alternative financing options.
  • Provide project management and construction coordination for assigned projects
  • Achieve maintenance and utility demand and usage reductions through optimization of facility operations, capital improvements, and through construction activities to maximize cost avoidance
  • Evaluate and assess innovative technologies. Develop business case, pilot, and expand financially sound opportunities.
  • Coordinate energy audits and retro-commissioning activities
  • Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience creating and/or improving sustainable footprint, with 2+ years of supervisory/management experience, OR High School Diploma and 8+ years of experience creating and/or improving sustainable footprint, with 3+ years of supervisory/management experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Certified Energy Manager
  • Experience with large, multi-business unit organizations
  • Experience in beverage production industry
  • Experience with design and implementation of renewable energy systems
