Job Description
The Cold Drink Equipment Installer 2 is responsible for the preparation, delivery, returning and moving of Coca-Cola vending machines and coolers by performing the following duties.
What your day will look like:
- Delivers, returns, and moves vending machines and coolers
- General repair of machines, excluding refrigerant
- Cleans equipment and machines
- Completes general maintenance around cooler shop
- Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum age of 21 years old
- Valid chauffer’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
- Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
- Valid driver’s license required and ability to retain CDL after 90 days of hire
- Valid class A or B CDL required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
- DOT Certification required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to analyze and problem solve to resolve any customer issues
- Ability to work with all functional team members
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Repeated standing and walking
- Frequent bending, kneeling/squatting, climbing stairs, reaching overhead, use of hands/wrists by grasping, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs., fine manipulation, lifting, carrying and vehicle operation
- Frequent exposure to weather and loud noise
