Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Software Application Administrator to manage and support IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) and IBM Connect:Direct (NDM) environments across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of these file transfer solutions to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient data exchange.

Key Responsibilities:
• File Transfer Operations: Assist in managing and monitoring file transfers using IBM Sterling File Gateway and Connect:Direct to ensure successful and timely delivery.
• Configuration and Maintenance: Support the configuration and setup of secure file transfer protocols such as SFTP, NDM, and HTTPS.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve file transfer errors, connectivity issues, and other technical challenges.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of configurations, workflows, and issue resolutions for reference and reporting purposes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to support file exchange requirements and implement new processes.
• Security Compliance: Adhere to company and industry security policies to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with standards.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Basic knowledge of file transfer protocols (e.g., SFTP, HTTPS, NDM).
• Familiarity with IBM Sterling File Gateway, IBM Connect:Direct or similar platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage time effectively.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the role
