Employee Relations Specialist - Hybrid

If you want to make a difference…. join our HR team! We are searching for an Employee Relations Specialist who wants to be part of an organization that makes a difference in the lives of others. 

In this vital position, the Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for providing expert support and guidance to ensure compliance with Riverside’s policies as well as applicable state and federal labor laws.

The Employee Relations Specialist will:

  • administer and consult on accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  • oversee workers’ compensation and unemployment services
  • conduct thorough workplace investigations involving sexual harassment, harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, and mutual respect violations
  • develop and deliver training for managers on employee relations topics such as performance management, staff retention and conflict resolution, to strengthen managements effectiveness

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours

  • Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm

Location: Hybrid with flexible in-office days at our Dedham Headquarters

Required Skills

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with ability to initiate, plan, and manage complex projects
  • Must be highly organized, independent, and efficient
  • Demonstrated proficiency with word-processing, databases and Excel required. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2-4 years of Human Resources experience
  • Must have working knowledge of federal and state laws governing employment practices
