Health & Safety Trainer
If you want to make a difference…. join our HR team! We are searching for a Health & Safety Trainer who wants to be part of an organization that makes a difference in the lives of others.
The Health & Safety Trainer plays a vital role in equipping staff with essential skills to promote a safe, responsive, and trauma-informed workplace. This position is responsible for delivering engaging and effective training in areas such as de-escalation and behavioral safety, CPR, First Aid, LifeVac, and Narcan Overdose Prevention and Rescue. Through a combination of discussion, role-play, simulation, and hands-on practice, the trainer ensures that staff are well-prepared to respond confidently and appropriately to both behavioral and medical emergencies.

Riverside is committed to supporting the right candidate—someone who is qualified, passionate, motivated, positive, and able to teach with both patience and enthusiasm—by sponsoring their participation in Train-the-Trainer certification programs (e.g., Welle, CPR/FA, LifeVac, Narcan) if not already certified.
