The role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual who thrives on supporting and creating unique event experiences that have an impact. You will be joining a new function and therefore will have a chance to help define our employee event experience standard, which will include a framework with processes and policies to help mitigate risk. As the function matures, we want your impact to grow through your ability to complex event program deliverables.

This role will also split time to support administrative needs for our Corporate Affairs global hub in New York, including coordinating and facilitating in-person meetings and events for the team and the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer. This role will work very closely with the Chief of Staff to the Chief Corporate Affairs officer and wider administrative support team. There is a firm four-day a week (typically Monday to Thursday) requirement to be physically in the New York office.

Key responsibilities include:

* Provide support on end-to-end enterprise employee events that are aligned with our company's strategic priorities and in response to employee feedback. We're focused on creating meaningful opportunities to foster connections among our colleagues, strengthen our culture and drive business outcomes through in-person, virtual and hybrid experiences.
* Manage the event team mailbox and associated communications.
* Act as liaison to team on MetLife Employee ticket usage for employee events.
* Contribute team planning of employee focused events and associated administrative tasks such as registration site creation, room block management etc.
* Some travel may be required.
* Organize and monitory inventory of extensive branded merchandise stock.
* Support in-person needs of the Chief Corporate Affairs officer, including clearing visitors through security, greeting visitors and other logistics. CCAO's calendar, travel and expenses are not within role's remit and are handled elsewhere.
* Coordinate logistics for Corporate Affairs team events, including quarterly team Town Halls, catered lunches and team outings. This includes working with IT, facilities and catering staff.
* Provide in-person assistance to support administrative support team abroad, including collecting and scanning expense receipts.
* Occasionally provide vacation or sick time coverage for administrative support colleagues.
* Perform other administrative duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a dynamic professional with hands-on experience in a corporate environment with experience in event strategy, systems, and execution. They will have a bachelor's degree with approximately 1-3 years of event experience is preferred - across in-person, virtual and hybrid.

Other qualifications include:
* Proficiency in supporting and executing a range of events within a multi-national corporation using a variety of methods.
* Strong proficiency with Office suite, including Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to manage stakeholder expectations, as well as build lasting rapport through interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
* Strong appreciation for storytelling, including how it contributes to employee engagement.
* Strategic and creative thinker with excellent communication and problem solving skills .
* Exceptional writing and editing ability, as well as high attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritize and navigate a variety of activities in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrixed environment coupled with strong organizational skills to lead multiple projects simultaneously.

The Department / Team:
Within Global Corporate Affairs at Moody's, the Communications teams are responsible for inspiring and enabling meaningful connections among their stakeholders. The Employee Communications & Executive Visibility team engages employees globally through storytelling experiences to strengthen Moody's culture and brand perception.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $56,200 - $81,550, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
