You will be the Project Engineer Senior Staff on the Operations Team of the IFG Engineering Project Office.
The operations team works to align engineering teams to complete the goals and priorities of the IFG line of business, Program Office, and functions to deliver agile and affordable solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements.
As the Project Engineer the main responsibilities of this position are to facilitate the IFG Engineering Ops business rhythm including metrics, technical presentations, as well as either briefing and/or prepping leadership on the material. This individual will also coordinate with program management on the technical status of their programs.
To be successful in this position, the individual will need to be able to effectively digest and summarize data for executive leadership consumption. They must deliver products on a short timeline with high accuracy. This individual needs to effectively communicate issues and project status while utilizing time management skills appropriately.
**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

Basic Qualifications:
* Engineering or other technical degree from an accredited college/university
* Project Management experience
* Experience working across multiple disciplines, departments or teams
Desired Skills:
* Metrics derivation and /or calculation
* Control Account Manager (CAM) experience
* Exceptional communication skills
* Excels in a teamwork environment
* Ability to work in a fast paced, flexible environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
