You will be a Manufacturing Planner Asc. for Lockheed Martin's SOF GLSS Program, supporting the mission to rapidly and properly equip the SOF community and its warfighters with the best possible systems and equipment. Our team is responsible for providing logistics and sustainment support to multiple programs and platforms, and we're looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our ranks.



What You Will Be Doing

As a Manufacturing Planner Asc., you will be responsible for performing Make, Buy, and Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. You will work closely with our team to maintain production systems integrity, drive inventory optimization, and minimize cost.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

* Perform Make, Buy, and BOM planning activities associated with MRP transactions
* Maintain production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization and minimize cost
* Expedite and optimize material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements
* Coordinate with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control on make parts
* Analyze and control production schedule and capacity requirements
* Execute the plan, provide timely status, and expedite or work around plans to preserve schedule
* Coordinate with Supply Chain Stakeholders, including Procurement and Operations Management, to determine appropriate time-phased plan for procured parts
* Maintain MRP parameters, including lead times and lot sizes, and coordinate with Engineering and Change Board Rep to make associated changes to the BOM
* Provide Manufacturing Operations Support duties in support of all other functional areas
* Utilize approved software/programs and perform MRP responsibilities

This position supports our Special Operations Forces - Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
