




Salary range is:
$76,267.00 - $110,000.00This position is bonus and/or commission eligible.

The Role
The senior accountant position is a key member of Accounting team. The Accounting team is primarily responsible for:- Monthly closes (including our foreign subsidiaries)
- Supporting balance sheets schedules
-Revenue recognition
- Managing year-end audits and related accounting research
- Assisting in external financial reporting
- Helping with other special projects such as integration of acquired companies
This position is Hybrid in the Chicago area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in month end closes including preparing revenue recognition journal entries
- Review and analyze contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment
- Prepare and maintain revenue schedules and reconciliations
- Prepare the revenue footnote and related disclosures
- Prepare supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts
- Perform ad hoc analysis and reports including revenue and expense analytics
- Review and improve current processes and controls, including identifying opportunities to automate and streamline workflows
- Work with our external auditors to complete the quarterly reviews and year-end audit
- Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with company policies and U.S. GAAP
- Additionally, the senior accountant will assist in accounting research, publishing internal reports to management, and compiling balance sheet analytics
Requirements:
In order to accomplish all of this great work, the senior accountant will work with many other teams at CCC including Financial Planning & Analysis, Sales Operations, Billing & Cash Collections, Accounts Payable and our external auditors.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 4-5 years of public accounting experience
- CPA required
- Experience with technical accounting research
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and ASC 606
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices
- Strong Excel skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Planning and organizing
- Strong communication skills
