Bishop Eye Center is looking for full time or part time Technicians with strong interpersonal skills, a great work ethic, and the ability to be a great team player.  Enthusiasm and compassion are a must.  We will definitely train the right person, but previous experience in the eye world is also welcomed.

Daily activities include taking patient histories, performing eye tests on our different equipment, dilation of patients, assisting the doctors, and other normal requirements to fully work up a patient.  A typical technician will work up 10-20 patients in a day.  Technicians may also graduate to scribing or clinical management.  

Normal work hours are from 7:45am-4:30pm Monday through Friday.  The position will work in one of our 3 Beaufort County locations (Hilton Head, Bluffton, or New River/Sun City area).  Rate of pay ranges from $16-$25/hour depending upon experience.  

Bishop Eye Center is a state of the art Ophthalmology practice focusing on daily eyecare for everyone in the community, as well as Surgical care in Cataracts, Glaucoma, lid surgery, and other areas.  All of our offices are fully equipped with the most advanced technology available.
