To better serve the Round Rock and Greater Austin community, Baylor Scott & White is embarking on an expansion of our medical center in Round Rock. The expansion of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Round Rock is estimated to be complete in 2026. This includes phased openings throughout 2025, with start dates as early as January 6, 2025. #RREXP24

Job Summary

Registered Nurse Charge oversees patient care, follows nursing regulations, fulfills organization's priorities, enhancing responsibility to promote mission. The main tasks of the role involve evaluating patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, creating personalized care plans, and assessing patient responses.

What You'll Do

• You will utilize nursing judgement and reasoning to make precise health assessments, ensuring these assessments align with standard practices.
• You will check nursing procedures. Use research to make changes.
• You will demonstrate caring practices by addressing both emotional and physical discomfort, aiming to foster healing and prevent excess distress.

• Familiarity with nursing and patient care protocols and practices.
• Proven communication skills both in speech and writing.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone who has completed an established program in Nursing.
• At least two years in the field.
• Registered Nurse License.
• You must have Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of being hired.
