Job Description:
Apex has an immediate need for a Sr. Project Manager local to the Cincinnati area.
Ideal candidates must have the following:
- Demonstrable Project Management experience
- Successful experience leading multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience establishing and implementing a project intake process
- Experience building and managing great relationships with key technology and business leaders/stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Become familiar quickly with a very large and complex Finance and Technology organization, ways of working and enterprise processes.
- Understand individual Finance projects and ensure appropriate-levels of project management rigor are applied.
- Establish and facilitate aproject in-take process.
- Partner with Finance business and Product leads to ensure issues are being addressed in a timely fashion and priorities are understood.
- Partner with dedicated Project Managers to ensure individual project issues and risks are being communicated upward for resolution.
- Manage overall project resource capacity levels.
- Meeting coordination, facilitation and follow-up.
- Create and track schedules, risks and issues, and budget (when applicable).
- Develop risk mitigation plans and escalate decisions and unresolved issues as needed.
- Maintain project communications with stakeholders at multiple levels.
