In this position, you will be responsible for representing the company in a positive, professional manner as you interface daily with clients. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities. You will partner with one of the founding Financial Advisors on the team to help service their clients, continue building your skills and work toward bringing in additional clients over time. Responsibilities and time allocation will change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by the advisor.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with superb organization, exceptional attention to detail, and high ownership of their responsibilities to help us build and maintain strong client relationships.
Position Responsibilities:
Collect, input, and analyze clients' financial situation in financial planning software and make preliminary recommendations for goal achievement.
Support wealth management research, trading, performance tracking, etc.
Prepare for client meetings (deliverables, portfolio review, illustrations, and opportunities)
Assist in new business processing and tracking.
Deliver superior client services including initiating and editing client communications, responding to client requests and overall support to advisors and various professionals.
Follow work priorities, ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
Monitor compliance requirements and complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
Development plan toward becoming an Associate Financial Advisor:
First, complete FINRA license exams - SIE, Series 7, Series 66 and insurance licenses within 180 days of hire.
Concurrently, develop your technical knowledge and communication skills with the mentoring financial advisor through apprenticeship in every part of the client service process.
After moving to Associate Financial Advisor position, participate in the Advisor Business Development Program training through Ameriprise, which focusing on sales training and practice management skills.
Compensation:
The primary compensation for this role will be a small base salary initially. Once one is appointed as an Associate Financial Advisor (AFA) they will receive an increase. As the individual grows and develops their skills as an Associate Financial Advisor, there will be the opportunity for greater compensation based on the growth of clients they service and clients they bring into the practice.

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $30,000 - $75,000. Base salaries are determined in part based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of a bonus.Full-Time/Part-Time
